The Nokia Series 30+ (abbreviated as either ''Series 30+'' or ''S30+'') software platform is an application user interface from MediaTek, licensed by Microsoft Mobile for its Nokia-branded mobile devices. Despite the naming similarity, S30+ is not related to Nokia's Series 30 platform. They are the only new phones sold by Microsoft under the Nokia brand as older platforms used by Nokia have been discontinued.〔(Microsoft kills Nokia X Android line-up, Asha and Series 40 )〕 Microsoft is now using solely the Windows 10 Mobile platform for its smartphones, which are made under the Microsoft Lumia brand and are no longer being branded with the Nokia name.
